In the third quarter of 2025, the top tools apps on the Android platform in Denmark showed varied performance trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. This analysis, powered by Sensor Tower, provides insights into the performance of these leading applications.

AVG AntiVirus & Security from AVG Mobile experienced a consistent weekly revenue trend, peaking at approximately $4.2K at the beginning of the quarter and closing at around $3.9K by the end of September. Weekly downloads fluctuated, starting at 449 and dipping to a low of 249 mid-quarter before rising to 401. Active users initially declined from 18.3K to around 13.1K but saw a resurgence to 14.9K by the end of the quarter.

NordVPN – fast VPN for privacy by Nord Security showed a decrease in weekly revenue from $4K to $3.3K over the quarter. Downloads began at 1.2K, with a slight decrease to 796 by the end of September. However, the app maintained a strong active user base, climbing from 8.2K to over 10.3K.

Avast Antivirus & Security saw a steady increase in revenue, ending the quarter at $928. Weekly downloads were relatively stable, with a small peak at 365 in mid-August. Active users remained consistent, averaging around 1.6K throughout the quarter.

Norton360 Antivirus & Security reported a steady revenue increase, reaching $779 by the end of September. Downloads remained steady around the 270 mark, while active users hovered around 4.8K, maintaining a stable trend.

ExpressVPN: Fast & Secure VPN experienced a varied revenue pattern, with a peak at $655 in late September. The app’s downloads saw a significant drop from 2.2K to 124 over the quarter, while active users decreased from 3.6K to approximately 1.3K.
